Chief of Staff chairs National Defence, Security Committee meeting

Manama, Nov. 14 (BNA): Chief of Staff of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), Lieutenant-General Dheyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi, chaired the meeting of the National Defence and Security Committee, at the BDF†s General Command today. The committee discussed ways to develop cooperation and strengthen coordination among military and security bodies, as well as consolidate joint military capabilities so as to strengthen the pillars of security and stability and maintain the country†s gains and capabilities for the best interests of the nation and the citizens. Public Security Chief, Major-General Tariq Hassan Al-Hassan, National Guard Staff Director, Major-General Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Khalifa, Assistant Chief of Staff for Operations, Major-General Ghanim Ibrahim Al-Fadhala, and a number of senior BDF officers attended.
