Chinese Fuda Cancer Hospital Willing to Open Doha Branch

Doha, November 12 (QNA) - A Chinese cancer hospital has expressed its willingness to open a branch in Doha. Head of Fuda Cancer Hospital in Guangzhou in China Professor Kecheng Xu, currently visiting Qatar to meet with officials from local hospitals and the Qatar Association of Cancer Patients said that the hospital wants to open a branch in Doha, noting that it treats cancer with cryosurgical ablation, Cancer Microvessel Intervention and Combined Immunotherapy, the Qatari Arabic daily (al-Sharq) reported. Kecheng Xu was invited to present the latest techniques that are being used in the treatment of cancer which do not involve chemical treatments or radiations, which have difficult impact on the patient. The professor said that he succeeded in treating more than 10,000 cases from 57 countries, including Qatar and other GCC countries. (QNA)
