Civil Defense in Jazan Region Dismantles An IED Washed Away by Flooding From Yemen

Jazan, August 16, 2020, SPA -- The Media Spokesman for the Civil Defense Directorate in Jazan Region, Colonel Mohammad bin Hassan A-Ghamdi, has stated that the Civil Defense Control and Guidance Center in Ahad Al-Masarihah Governorate received a report about the discovery of a disguised improvised explosive device as a rock that was washed away by flooding from Yemeni lands to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He said that specialists immediately rushed to the site, took necessary security precautions for such cases and implemented approved procedures. No injuries were reported, he added. --SPA
