Climate Affairs Special Envoy meets Jordanian Environment Minister

Sharm El Sheikh, Nov. 17 (BNA): Oil and Environment Minister and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Bin Daina met Jordanian Environment Minister Dr. Muawieh Radaideh on the sidelines of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP27). The meeting reviewed bilateral relations and issues of common interest, especially in the environmental field, and ways to enhance cooperation. The meeting also reviewed the most important findings of the conference, the objectives, and recommendations, which represent the world's efforts to face the challenges of climate change and achieve environmental security. They noted Bahrain's interest and support for all international efforts to achieve climate goals. Radaideh stressed the strong Bahraini-Jordanian relations and his country's interest in expanding bilateral cooperation in the environmental field. He also praised the progress achieved by Bahrain in the areas of sustainable development.
