Coast Guard Commander takes part in Asian meeting

Manama, Oct.8 (BNA): Coast Guard Commander, Major-General Alaa Siyadi led a delegation that took part in the 15th Heads of Asian Coast Guard Agencies Meeting (HACGAM) in Colombo, Sri Lanka with the participation of 26 states and organisations. The event focused on issues including search and rescue, environmental protection, preventing and controlling unlawful acts at sea, and capacity building. In the sideline of the meeting, the delegation held bilateral meetings with other delegations.
