Commander-in-Chief hosts luncheon banquet

Manama, Feb 24 (BNA): Commander-in-Chief of Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa today hosted a luncheon banquet in honour of Commander of the US Central Command General Lloyd J. Austin and the accompanying delegation. Defence Affairs Minister Lt-Gen Yusuf Ahmed Al-Jalahma and Chief of Staff Lt-Gen Diab bin Sagr Al-Nuaimi were also present. Commander-in-Chief welcomed the delegation and commended the deep-rooted relations between the two countries. The two sides discussed a number of topics of joint interest. Marking the occasion, commemorative gifts were exchanged at the end of the meeting.
