Commander-in-chief inspects BDF units

Manama, Aug. 30 (BNA): Commander-in-Chief of Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, today paid inspection visits to a number of BDF units, and was briefed about their work progress, as well as training programmes aimed at enhancing the combat and administrative readiness and competence of their servicemen. The commander-in-chief was informed about the level of the units’ military preparations , and readiness to face all challenges, along with other BDF units, as part of the BDF’s plans and constant efforts to keep pace with the latest military developments and innovations, and strengthen its combat and administrative readiness. He gave directives to continue implementing training projects and programmes aimed at enhancing the competence of the BDF human resources. He also urged everybody to continue exerting all efforts in order to achieve the national goals, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander. The commander-in-chief expressed deep appreciation of the tangible efforts exerted by BDF servicemen at various fields, and their sincere readiness to make all sacrifices in Bahrain and abroad.
