Commander-in-Chief receives British senior defence advisor

Manama, Sept. 30 (BNA): BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa received Lt-General Sir John Lorimer, British Senior Defence Advisor to the Middle East, in presence of Chief-of-Staff Lt-General Dhiyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi. The BDF Commander-in-Chief praised the Bahrain-UK historic friendship ties and the cooperation in various areas including sharing expertise and cooperation in the military field. BDF General Command Headquarters Director Maj-General Hassan Mohamed Saad; Assistant Chief-of-Staff for Logistics and Supplies Naval Maj-General Yousef Ahmed Mal-Allah; Naval LTC Paul A. Windsar the UK's Military Attaché to Bahrain; and, senior BDF officers were also present.
