Commander-in-chief receives Italian ambassador

Manama, Sep. 16 (BNA): Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, received here today the Italian Ambassador to Bahrain, Domenico Bellato, who introduced to him the newly-appointed Riyadh-Resident Italian Military Attaché to Bahrain, Massimilano Macioce. The commander-in-chief wished the new military attaché every success in carrying out his duties. He also lauded the friendship relations between Bahrain and Italy, and discussed with the delegation ways to strengthen bilateral military cooperation. Director of the BDF's General Command, Major-General Hassan Mohammed Saad, attended.
