Commander-in-Chief receives Japanese Ambassador

Manama, Oct. 28 (BNA): Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, received at the BDF’s General Command today, the Japanese Ambassador to Bahrain, Hideki Ito, who was accompanied by the Commander of the Japanese ship, “Minesweeper Division/3”, Navy Captain Seiji Ikubo. Defence Affairs Minister, Lieutenant- General Abdulla bin Hassan Al-Nuaimi, and Chief of Staff, Lieutenant-General Dhiyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi, were present. The Commander-in-Chief welcomed the ambassador of friendly Japan, and ship commander. He discussed with them ways to enhance bilateral cooperation and coordination. Director of the BDF’s General Command’s Court, Major-General Hassan Mohammed Saad, Assistant Chief of Staff for Logistics and Catering, Rear Admiral Yousef Ahmed Malallah, Director of Military Cooperation, Rear Admiral Mohammed Hashem Al-Sada, Commander of Royal Bahraini Naval Force (RBNF), Rear Admiral Mohammed Yousef Al-Asam, and senior BDF officers also attended the meeting.
