Commander-in-chief receives UK ambassador, citizens

Manama, May 25 (BNA): Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, received the UK Ambassador to Bahrain, Simon Martin and scores of citizens and residents, at his Majlis in West Riffa this evening. They extended sincere congratulations to the BDF commander-in-chief marking the holy month of Ramadan. The audience is in line with the commander-in-chief’s keenness to consolidate his annual habit of communicating with the citizens, and to preserve the Bahraini society’s deep-rooted traditions emanating from the precepts of the Islamic religion. Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa welcomed the well-wishers, praying to Allah the Almighty to bless Bahrain with security, stability and comprehensive development, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander.
