Commander-in-Chief visits BDF units

Manama, Feb. 1 (BNA): Commander-in-Chief of Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa paid an inspection visit today to a number of BDF units and got briefed about the development stages of those units as well as the military and administrative work process there. He paid tribute to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for his directives, pointing out the fast-paced implementation of plans to boost the combat and administrative readiness and develop preparation and training programmes. He praised the units’ distinguished readiness and high combat competence, stressing that the remarkable development of BDF and its achievements are a source of pride.  The BDF Commander-in-Chief lauded the dedicated efforts of the BDF personnel to achieve the noble goals, defend the nation and protect its achievements and resources.
