Commander-in-Chief visits BDF units

Manama, Feb. 14 (BNA): Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, today paid visits to a number of BDF units. On arrival, he was briefed on the units’ development phases, combat preparedness, administrative and technical readiness and training programmes. Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed highlighted the BDF’s landmark achievements attained thanks to the unwavering care of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, stressing that the BDF has reached the highest levels across various combat and administrative levels. He affirmed that the BDF is moving steadily towards achieving its goals, with professionalism and competence, commending the BDF personnel’s tremendous efforts, constant vigilance and keenness to undertake their patriotic tasks to the fullest in order to defend the nation and protect its hard-won historical gains and civilisational accomplishments
