ZONGULDAK (A.A) - February 12, 2012 - A Comoros-flagged cargo ship asked early on Sunday for help after it started to leak water off Turkey's Black Sea Coast, governor of northern province of Zonguldak said. Zonguldak Governor Erol Ayyildiz said the cargo ship started to leak water from its engine room six miles off Zonguldak's Eregli town and the captain called for help. "Teams have reached the cargo ship, and there are eight crew members on the ship. We plan to bring the ship to a safe place in four or five hours," Ayyildiz told AA correspondent. Moreover, Eregli's Subgovernor Ibrahim Cay said efforts were under way to bring the ship to the dockyard in Eregli. The cargo ship unloaded scrap oil at Erdemir Iron and Steel Enterprises, and was en route to Bulgaria.
