Constitutional court adjourns two cases

Manama, June 1 (BNA): The Constitutional Court convened its session today presided over by the Court Chairman Shaikh Khalifa bin Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa and membership of Deputy Chairman Judge Dr. Mohammed Al Mashhadani, Nofal bin AbdulSalam Gharbal, Ali Abdullah Al Duwayshan, Saeed Hassan Al Hayeki, Essa bin Mubarak Al Kaabi, Dr. Mona Mohammed Jassim Al Kuwari, and court secretary Mohammed Ebrahim Al Jabir; and, considered constitutional cases 1/C/2016 and 2/C/2016 . The court considered Constitutional Case 1/C/2016 regarding constitutionality of the text of clause 36 of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)'s Commercial Arbitration Centre's procedural code associated with Law Decree 6/2000 for alleged violation of the provisions of clauses 20 and 31 of the Constitution" and decided to defer the case for consideration until the session on Wednesday, 28 September 2016, to enclose the attachments; The court also considered Constitutional Case 1/C/2016 regarding constitutionality of clauses 40, 41, 42 and 43 of the Property Lease Law 27/2014 for alleged violation of the provisions of clauses 4, 18, 20/F, 104 and 105 of the Constitution." and decided to defer the case for consideration until the session on Wednesday, 28 September, 2016 to enclose the attachments.
