Constitutional Court's chief receives Egyptian delegation

Manama, Apr. 11 (BNA): The Constitutional Court's secretary-general Dr. Shaikh Sabah bin Hamad Al Khalifa today received a delegation from the Egyptian Military Judiciary Authority, led by the Head of the Second Egyptian Army's Judiciary Branch, Colonel Saad Abdulaziz Ali Abdou. Shaikh Sabah welcomed the kingdom's guests and conveyed to them the greetings and welcoming of Shaikh Khalifa bin Rashid Al Khalifa the chairmen of the Constitutional Court, noting the advanced level of cooperation primarily on constitutional judiciary aspects. The delegation toured the executive department of the Constitutional Court and viewed the main hall which accommodates official sessions. The delegation was accompanied by the Director of Media and International Relations, Shaikh Khalid bin Isa Al Khalifa. The delegation listened to an introductory lecture presented by the Head of Registration Department Ahmed Habib Al Aali, including a briefing on the Constitutional Court Law and applicable procedures for registering lawsuits in the Court since its establishment in 2002 as part of His Majesty the King's huge reforms. In conclusion of their visit, the head and members of Egyptian military judiciary delegation expressed their admiration of the Bahraini Constitutional Court's judicial procedures and advanced constitutional sureties. They also expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the chairman of the Constitutional Court for the welcoming reception. The delegation was accompanied during their visit by Colonel Shaheen Saleh Al Dossary member of the BDF's Military Court of Cassation.
