Cooperation to maintain security, stability discussed

Manama, July 21 (BNA): Interior Minister Lt-Gen Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa today received members of the Council of Representatives' National Partnership Committee led by MP Hamad Al-Dosari. Interior Undersecretary Shaikh Nasser bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa was present. Ways to reinforce cooperation for achieving further domestic security and stability between the two sides were discussed. The minister welcomed the parliamentarians' active participation in strengthening the national security in the interest of the homeland and citizens. He praised the parliamentarians' appreciation of the sacrifice of the police and their vital role in maintaining security and order. The parliamentarians' delegation stressed to continue cooperation with the Interior Ministry in the interest of the national interest, commending the Interior's efforts in maintaining domestic security and stability and protecting citizens' rights.
