Cooperation on women empowerment discussed

Manama, Mar 31 (BNA): Aspects of cooperation on the implementation of the national plan for the advancement of Bahraini women today were discussed between the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) and the Medical University of Bahrain, previously known as the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. SCW Sec-Gen Hala Al-Ansari stressed the SCW support for the initiative of the Medical University of Bahrain in the field of the empowerment of female students and employees in line with the national plan for the advancement of Bahraini women and the principle of equal opportunities. The meeting also discussed the joint coordination for carrying out studies and researches related to women, organizing events and programs that contribute to the implementation of the national plan for the advancement of Bahraini women.
