Coordination meeting on services theme held

Manama, Feb. 25 (BNA): In conformity with the directives of HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and Frist Deputy Prime Minister, during the 2017 Government Forum held under the patronage of HRH the Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and at the initiative of HRH Crown Prince, to organize workshops on laying out mechanisms and priorities to meet the aspirations of the Government Action Plan (GAP) 2019-2022, a coordination meeting on the services theme today was held comprising undersecretaries, assistant undersecretaries and directors of ministries and government agencies concerned.  Another meeting will be held tomorrow on the environment theme in preparation of the third workshop to be held on next Sunday on services and environment themes under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Ministerial Committee for Social Services, Communications and Public Information, HH Shaikha Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa.  Health Minister, Coordinator of Services Theme, Faeqa bin Saed Al Saleh, in her speech, said identifying the GAP aspirations is streamed out in line with HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to meet the citizens’ ambitions. Adding it is a good opportunity to discuss strategies and initiatives designed to upgrade the government performance.  The minister said the GAP reflects Bahrain’s commitment to improve public services in various areas, including education, health and social services, noting the significance of cooperation among government agencies in turning the initiatives into reality and boosts capabilities to take on challenges and variables.
