Coordination to unify government discourse stressed

Manama, Mar. 14 (BNA): Executive Director of the National Communication Center (NCC), Dr. Mohammed Ali Behzad, attached great significance to establishing cooperation between the NCC and the competent government agencies to unify the government discourse through an effective and sustainable communication system to fulfill the leadership’s aspirations and visions. During the fourth coordination meeting that comprised government communication directors and officials, Dr. Behzad highlighted the responsibility taken on by the NCC as a public communication network responsible for communicating with media. The success of its work depends on the joint institutional action and the exchange of ideas to unify the government discourse, he said. Dr. Behzad announced that a number of initiatives will by launched to unify the government discourse. A series of workshops will be addressed by international experts and specialized trainers of the government communication network to focus on skills of the formulation of media messages and the preparation of traditional and digital media plans. In addition, a guide will be issued to be used as a reference to regulate the government communication network. He emphasized the NCC constant keenness to promote the government communication network to achieve its goals aimed at coordinating joint efforts of ministries and government agencies, as well as working together to build an active and sustainable government communication system, saying coordination among government agencies is crucial to accentuating the government development projects in a strategic style. He lauded the important role of the government communication system members in boosting cooperation and strategic partnerships among various government parties to highlight Bahrain’s standing regionally and internationally.
