Council of Representatives hails Bahrain-Saudi ties

Manama, Feb. 22 (BNA): The Council of Representatives congratulated the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the anniversary of the Founding Day, which falls on February 22. It hailed strong bilateral relations binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. In a statement today, the Council of Represenatives described the Founding Day as a shining mark in the history of the region, hailing steadily-growing ties, in light of the efforts exerted by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister and Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Defence Minister HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The statement hailed the pivotal role of Saudi Arabia in serving Islam and Muslims, supporting regional security and stability, stressing the importance of bolstering parliamentary cooperation with the Saudi Shura Council.
