Crown Prince: Bahrain-US relations built upon commitment to bolstering cooperation

Manama, Mar. 22 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today met with the American Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, His Excellency William Roebuck, at Gudaibiya Palace. During the meeting, His Royal Highness highlighted the long-standing strategic relations between the US and Bahrain, which he said are firmly built upon a commitment to bolstering all levels of coordination and cooperation to achieve shared strategic goals. His Royal Highness noted Bahrain’s commitment to further developing relations between the two countries, and discussed ways to strengthen cooperation across trade and defence. His Royal Highness and the American Ambassador then discussed issues of shared interest and recent regional developments, noting the importance of coordinating on ways to counter all forms of terrorism and violent extremism to preserve regional security and stability.
