Crown Prince departs for Turkey to take part in the 13th Islamic Summit

Manama, Apr. 13 (BNA): On behalf of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today departed Bahrain to attend the 13th Islamic Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Istanbul, Turkey. The Deputy Prime Minister, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Shaikh Khaled bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, and a number of senior officials will accompany His Royal Highness at the summit. The Personal Representative of His Majesty the King, His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the son of the Crown Prince, His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Southern Governor, Shaikh Abdulla bin Rashid Al Khalifa and the Turkish Ambassador to Bahrain, Her Excellency Hatun Demrir, gathered to bid farewell to His Royal Highness ahead of his departure from Sakhir Air Base.
