Crown Prince: F1 organisers’ hard work key to Bahrain’s Grand Prix success

Manama, Apr. 3 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today conducted a tour at the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) ahead of the F1 Grand Prix race. During his tour, the Crown Prince highlighted that the Grand Prix continues to facilitate employment opportunities throughout the Kingdom, and that the event has become an important component of Bahrain’s diverse economic strategy. The Crown Prince also highlighted that the Formula One weekend continues to be delivered by Bahrain’s highly skilled workforce, who have supported the race’s development for over a decade. The Crown Prince noted that while the race provides direct domestic benefits across the tourism and services sectors, the Bahrain F1 Grand Prix also plays an important role in showcasing Bahrain on a global stage. The Crown Prince concluded by emphasising and welcoming the role the Bahrain F1 Grand Prix has played in developing motorsport in the region, and extended his appreciation to the efforts of the BIC staff for their continued hard work and commitment.
