Crown Prince meets Amir of Kuwait on sidelines of OIC Summit

Istanbul, Apr. 14 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today met His Highness Shaikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Amir of Kuwait, on the sidelines of the 13th Organisation of Islamic Cooperation Summit. His Royal Highness conveyed His Majesty King Hamad’s greetings to the Amir of Kuwait and His Majesty’s wishes for continued prosperity in Kuwait. In response, the Amir of Kuwait extended his best wishes to His Majesty King Hamad and to the people of Bahrain. During the meeting, the Amir and the Crown Prince discussed regional developments and the long-standing bilateral ties between Bahrain and Kuwait, as well as the OIC Islamic Summit agenda and their hopes for productive outcomes. The Deputy Prime Minister, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Shaikh Khaled bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the Director-General of the Office of the First Deputy Prime Minister, His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa and Bahrain’s Ambassador to the Republic of Turkey, His Excellency Dr Ebrahim Al-Abdulla, also attended the meeting.
