Crown Prince receives Indian Ambassador and emphasises importance of increasing bilateral trade and investment ties

Manama, May 8 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today received the Ambassador of the Republic of India to the Kingdom of Bahrain, His Excellency Mr Alok Sinha Kumar, at Riffa Palace. During the meeting, His Royal Highness highlighted the importance of further enhancing economic ties between Bahrain and India, emphasising that increased bilateral investment would deliver significant benefits to both countries. The Crown Prince welcomed both countries’ commitment to further strengthening bilateral ties that will contribute to achieving shared interests, adding that both countries should continue to explore further opportunities for collaboration. Turning to regional issues, His Royal Highness also stressed the importance of increasing mutual efforts to advance long-term security and stability. For his part, Ambassador Kumar expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the opportunity to meet His Royal Highness, and welcomed His Royal Highness’ support to efforts to further enhance bilateral relations.
