Cultural cooperation discussed

Manama, May 31 (BNA): Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) President Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa received Philippine Ambassador to Manama Alfonso A. Ver and discussed cooperation. She stressed Bahrain’s keen interest in building strong cultural relations with all countries in the world, highlighting planned events in Bahrain, particularly “Muharraq Capital of Islamic Culture 2018”, Bahrain Summer Festival and the 42nd meeting if the World Heritage Meeting in Manama. The Philippine envoy commended BACA-led efforts to strengthen ties will all countries in the world, stressing the vital role of culture in the evolution of societies.
