Cultural Weeks, Turning Point In Iran-Russia Co-op - Minister

Moscow, Oct 2, IRNA – Culture Minister of Iran Mohammad Hosseini Monday evening described holding cultural weeks in both Iran and Russia as turning points in promotion of bilateral cultural relations. Addressing a press conference in Moscow, Russia, the visiting Iranian minister told reporters that art is an international language well understood by world nations. Referring to Iran's Cultural Week in Moscow, Hosseini said Iran and Russia have been sharing close political and economic relations. He added that the two should make efforts to expand cultural ties. Hosseini arrived here Monday morning on a four-day visit to open Iran's Cultural Week in the Russian capital. Russia is planned to hold its Cultural Week in Tehran next year./end
