Customs Affairs experts finalise scanning devices testing

Manama, July 28 (BNA): The Customs Affairs has sent a technical team to China to examine four container scanning devices to ensure that they meet the specifications and conditions mentioned in the supply contract. These devices are the latest in the field of scanning containers and trucks in the world. The scanning tests were successful. The Customs Affairs is dedicated to meet the latest development in customs and security and to benefit from the skills of qualified national manpower, especially training them on testing devices. Many countries assign such testing tasks to foreign expertise. Those devices are expected to arrive and be installed in phases, starting from October 2018 to March 2019. (MOI)
