Customs chief chairs WCO virtual meeting

Manama, June 8 (BNA): President of Customs and Acting Chairperson of the World Customs Organisation (WCO), Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa has chaired the urgent online coordination meeting for the representatives of the WCO President and General Secretary. He expressed thanks and appreciation for the trust of the officials on him for appointing him in his new post, stressing dedication to continuing efforts he started when he was appointed as the WCO Bahrain representatives in 2016. He hailed the role of customers officers in the world under the current situation with the spreading of coronavirus.
