Customs President participates in GCC Customs Union meeting

Riyadh, Sept. 17 (BNA): Customs President Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa presided Bahrain's delegation to the GCC Customs Union meeting, which convened at the GCC Secretariat General headquarters, in Riyadh. Discussions focused on a number of issues, including mainly the GCC Supreme Council's decision at the 17th Consultation Meeting regarding the completion of the Customs Union, the progress made with regards to the development of a mechanism for the conversion of customs duties between the GCC customs administrations.
