Customs President receives South Korean ambassador

Manama, Oct. 4 (BNA): Customs President Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa asserted on Tuesday that the Customs Affairs is setting a strategy to push forward economic development, highlighting the government directives on logistic zones and the roles of the department and other concerned authorities in fulfilling them. He was speaking as he received newly appointed South Korean Ambassador to Bahrain Park Ho. He congratulated him and discussed means of reinforcing bilateral ties between the two friendly countries and the creation of new customs-related cooperation. The Ambassador expressed thanks and appreciation to the Customs President and asserted his full support to consolidating relations between the two countries. (MOI)
