Days of Kyrgyz culture to be held in Irkutsk region of Russia

Bishkek, Aug. 24, 2022. / Kabar /. Irkutsk region will celebrate the Days of Kyrgyz Culture on Aug. 31. This year they are timed to coincide with the State Independence Day of Kyrgyzstan. According to the press service of the center of culture of the indigenous peoples of the Baikal region, the holiday will be held on Aug. 31 in the village of Pozdnyakova, Irkutsk region. The Days of Kyrgyz Culture is a series of large-scale events: festivals, concerts, exhibitions dedicated to Kyrgyzstan, its history and culture, as well as friendly relations between countries. The Kyrgyz traditional culture will be presented for the guests of the holiday. The program includes musical and song numbers, folk dances, tasting of national cuisine, a chess tournament, traditional wrestling "Kurosh" and ancient horse games.
