Deep-rooted Bahrain-UK relations hailed

Manama, May 23 (BNA): Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa received here today Duke of Westminster Gerald Cavendish Grosvenor, in the presence of the Defence Affairs Minister Lieutenant-General Youssef bin Ahmed Al-Jalahma. The commander-in-chief lauded the outstanding long-standing Bahrain-UK relations, praising the existing bilateral cooperation in various fields. Issues of common interest were also discussed. Acting Director of the BDF General Command Major-General Hassan Mohammed Sa'ad, Inspector-General Major-General Abdulla Hassan Al-Nuaimi and Assistant Chief of Staff for Supply and Catering Rear Admiral Youssef Ahmed Malallah were present.
