Deputy King meets newly appointed Bahrain Medical Society board of directors, praises role of Bahraini doctors in developing Kingdom’s health sector

Manama, May 15 (BNA): Deputy King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, today met the newly appointed board members of the Bahrain Medical Society, headed by Dr Abdullah Mohammed Raffei, at Riffa Palace. During the meeting, His Royal Highness highlighted the prominent role of professional organizations in supporting Bahraini society’s development, and praised the role of Bahraini doctors in further strengthening Bahrain’s healthcare sector. The Deputy King also noted the importance of continuing to maintain and enhance the achievements of the Kingdom’s healthcare sector, in order to uphold the sector’s sustainability and high quality of services provided to citizens. His Royal Highness congratulated the newly elected Bahrain Medical Society board members, and emphasised the importance of their responsibilities in further developing the Medical Society’s role within the Kingdom. On behalf of the Bahrain Medical Society, Dr Raffei and the newly elected board members expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to meet His Royal Highness and noted their appreciation of His Royal Highness’ vision and support in further developing the Kingdom’s health sector.
