Deputy King, Premier praise royal visits

Manama, Sept. 5 (BNA): Deputy King His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, met at Gudaibiya Palace today His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa. They emphasised the importance of the visits of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to countries all over the world in bolstering cooperation and projecting Bahrain's policy of laying bridges of cooperation with any country keen on people's welfare and achieving common interests. The royal initiatives, they said, also reflect Bahrain's belief in the need for cooperation and coordination with brotherly and friendly countries to handle security and economic challenges facing the region. HRH the Deputy King and HRH the Premier reviewed visions to increase revenues in the general budget and serve the government's development efforts. They also discussed initiatives to improve performance of the public sector competencies, stressing support to all efforts aimed at tapping on human potentials to achieve the government's development and economic vision of boosting citizens' welfare.
