Deputy King: RCSC is among the Kingdom’s most important military education and training centres

Manama, May 18 (BNA): On behalf of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, The Deputy King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, today attended a ceremony marking the completion of two Royal Command and Staff College (RCSC) courses. The courses included the first National Defence Course and the eighth Joint Command and Staff Course. Commander in Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), His Excellency Lieutenant-General Yousif bin Ahmed Al Jalahma, Minister of Defence Affairs, His Excellency Lieutenant-General Theyab bin Saqer Al Noaimi, Chief of Staff, Major General Abdulla Saeed Al Mansoori, Commander of the RCSC, and other senior BDF officers. During the ceremony, His Royal Highness praised the standard of RCSC courses, which continue to receive His Majesty King Hamad’s support, adding that the RCSC has already placed itself amongst the Kingdom’s most important education and military training centres. The Deputy King congratulated the officers graduating from both courses and emphasised that strategic security planning and a thorough understanding of national, regional and international issues are a prerequisite for all senior military posts. The Deputy King also praised the academic achievements of the officers, which will enable them to become future leaders. In this regard, His Royal Highness commended the Commander of the RCSC and RCSC staff for the educational support they have provided to the graduates throughout their training. Major General Abdulla Saeed Al Mansoori, Commander of the RCSC, addressed the audience and expressed his appreciation for the support the RCSC continues to enjoy from His Majesty King Hamad and the Kingdom’s leadership. Major General Al Mansoori also expressed his pride in the level of efficiency that has been reached at the RCSC, particularly in light of the defence and security challenges faced by the region. The Deputy King's sons, His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa also attended the ceremony.
