Deputy PM chairs legal affairs committee meeting

Manana, Oct. 11 (BNA): Deputy Premier Jawad bin Salem Al Arrayedh has chaired a meeting of the Ministerial Committee of Legal Affairs attended by the ministers who are members of the committee. The committee reviewed the topics and memoranda listed in the agenda of the meeting, including bills of law prepared in the light of proposals submitted by the Shura Council and the Council of Representatives to the government, in response to which the government prepared its memoranda of opinion. The committee also discussed several bills of law and resolutions by the government, and prepared its recommendations to submit them to the Cabinet. The committee considered several proposals submitted to the government from the Council of Representative. The committee prepared its draft response to the government and decided to submit it to the Cabinet to take the necessary decisions in this regard. The committee expressed its opinion on some of the topics referred to it from the Cabinet and the various ministries.
