Deputy PM inaugurates 'The Terminal' project

Manama, Apr. 22 (BNA): Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa the chairman of Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company (Mumtalakat) has affirmed the current progress of tourism infrastructure was in pace with the exponential contribution of the tourism sector in the gross domestic product (GDP) and meets the needs of frequenters of this vital sector’s facilities and establishments. He affirmed that the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the keenness of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister, in implementation of the Government Action Programme, and the continuous follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, through the Executive Committee, have reflected positively on the tourism growth indices, that require the cooperation of all the stakeholders to achieve the key pivots of the strategy to develop the tourism sector. The Deputy PM today inaugurated The Terminal project developed by Bahrain Real Estate Investment Company (Edamah) the property investment arm of Mumtalakat. The BD 7,000,000 project is located in Adliya in the capital Manama. The project construction took around 18 months. The project comprises a multi-layered building, 10 commercial outlets – some of which have already been let meanwhile others are still available for investors to take them – 330 allocated car parking space.
