Deputy PM patronises Occupational Safety Conference

Manama, Apr. 23 (BNA): Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa is patronising the 4th Occupational Health and Safety Conference/Exhibition to be organized by the Ministry of Labour and Social Development in collaboration with the Occupational Health and Safety Council, on April 25-26. The event is expected to attract experts in the field who will present papers on latest innovative solutions pertaining to occupational health and safety risks in the various production sectors.  The conference will also discuss topics aimed to develop the basics and principles of safety of workers’ and safe workplace ergonomics, as well as best practices to protect workers and ensure their safety from occupational hazards. The associated exhibition will include the review and discuss new technological solutions, safety equipment, protective gear, civil defence services of leading consultative companies.
