Deputy PM praises French ambassador's efforts

Manama, Sep. 14 (BNA): Deputy Prime Minister HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa today received Ambassador of France to Bahrain, Bernard Regnauld-Fabre. HH Shaikh Mohammed praised the ceaseless efforts of the ambassador in boosting the bilateral ties in various fields in the interest of both countries, wishing the outgoing ambassador success in his future assignment(s). The ambassador informed the deputy Premier about the French President Emanuel Macron's initiative of designating the former French ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Bertrand Besancenot, as his representative to strengthen the bilateral friendship and cooperation ties. The ambassador expressed his gratitude to, and appreciation of, His Highness's reception and the cooperation he was accorded throughout his ambassadorial term in Bahrain.
