Deputy Premier receives Japanese ambassador

Manama, May 14 (BNA): Deputy Premier Jawad bin Salim Al-Arayad received here today the newly-appointed Japanese Ambassador to Bahrain Kiyoshi Asako. The deputy premier wished Ambassador Kiyoshi Asako every success in assuming his diplomatic duties in order to enhance the outstanding bilateral relations of cooperation and friendship. He also lauded the advanced level of Bahraini-Japanese relations in all fields, commending his efforts to boost those ties further. The Japanese envoy expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to the deputy premier for the meeting. He expressed his keenness to continue consolidating the existing constructive cooperation between the two friendly countries in all fields, especially the cultural, trade and social ones.
