Deputy Premier receives royal family members, well-wishers

Manama, May 18 (BNA): Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa stressed the importance of social tolerance and cohesion for national growth and unity. He praised co-existence and tolerance characterising the Bahraini community which turned the kingdom into model to emulate and earned it praise at all levels. The Deputy Premier was speaking as he received at his Majlis today members of the royal family, senior officials, Representatives and Shura Council members, Heads of the diplomatic missions accredited to Bahrain, journalists, media persons, intellectuals and citizens. He exchanged with them Ramadan greetings, wishing Bahrain and its people many happy returns. He prayed to Allah Almighty to protect Bahrain and bless it with constant security, development and prosperity under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He also lauded the efforts of the government led by HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier. The Deputy Prime Minister discussed with the audience local issues, stressing the importance of Ramadan Majlises and their role in promoting partnership and social security.
