Deputy Premier receives UK ambassador

Manama, Sep. 24 (BNA): Deputy Premier, HH Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, received the newly-appointed UK Ambassador to Bahrain, Roddy Drummond, at the Gudaibiya Palace today. The deputy premier welcomed the envoy, and lauded the advanced level of the steadily-progressing distinguished long-standing relations between the two kingdoms. Ambassador Drummond expressed thanks and appreciation to HH Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa for the warm welcome, praising the advanced level reached by the Bahraini-British relations at all levels, and stressing his keenness to bolster them further.
