Deputy Premier visits UNESCO Village

Manama, July 3 (BNA): Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) President Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa received Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al-Khalifa at the venue of the 42nd meeting of the World Heritage Committee at the UNESCO village.  BACA President thanked the Deputy Premier for the visit, hailing his keenness on supporting the BACA programmes and events.  The Deputy Premier stressed the importance42nd meeting of the World Heritage Committee, being chaired by the Kingdom of Bahrain at the UNESCO Village. He commended the efforts undertaken by the BACA chief to ensure the outstanding organization of the global meeting in Bahrain.  BACA chief toured the UNESCO Village and briefed the Deputy Prime Minister on different sections and meeting halls. The 42nd meeting of the World Heritage Committee will conclude on the 4th July.
