Deputy Prime Minister receives US ambassador

Manama, Apr. 7 (BNA): Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa received in his office at Gudaibiya Palace today the newly appointed US Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Steven Bondy. He welcomed him, wishing him every success in his diplomatic duties. He pointed out keenness of both countries to further boost strategic relations and cooperation to achieve common interests. The US ambassador praised Bahrain’s development in various fields, lauding the Deputy Prime Minister’s keenness on consolidating cooperation between the two friendly countries.
