Deputy Speaker Meets Turkish, Gambian Counterparts

Kigali, October 13 (QNA) - Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council Dr. Hamda bint Hassan Al Sulaiti, head of the participating Shura Council delegation participating in the 145th General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) currently taking place in Rwandan capital Kigali, met separately today with Deputy Speaker of the Turkish National Assembly Sereyya Sadi Bilgic and Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Gambia Seedy Njie. The two meetings dealt with discussing bilateral cooperation between the Shura Council on one side and the national assemblies of Turkey and Gambia on the other, in addition to reviewing a number of issues on the general assembly's agenda.
