DERASAT to organise its second Gulf Strategic Conference

Manama, May 20 (BNA): The Bahrain Center for Strategic, International and Energy Studies (DERASAT) will organise its second Gulf Strategic Conference under the theme "Geopolitical Changes in the Global Space" on May 22 and 23. Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa will patronise the event which will be organised at the Ritz-Carlton Bahrain hotel. DERASAT Board of Trustees Chairman Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Fadhala said the conference will bring together an elite of prominent figures, analysts, researchers and specialists in international and Middle Eastern studies, along with renowned think tanks from all over the world to discuss geopolitical changes in the new global space and map out visions on policies to serve security in the Arabian Gulf region and deal with global changes amidst surging terrorism and extremism and technological progress.
