Disseminating tolerance, harmony values urged

Manama, June 8 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa praised the unity and cohesion enjoyed by the Bahraini community as well as the national efforts aimed at bringing more developmental achievements. He called for concerted efforts to support the national development progress and highlighted Bahrain's regional and international standing. HRH Prime Minister this evening paid a visit to the Ramadan Majlis of President of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, Shaikh Abdullah bin Khalid Al Khalifa, as part of HRH Premier's keenness on visiting Ramadan majlises and meeting citizens during the blessed month. HRH Premier called for benefiting from Ramadan to enhance values of social cohesion and the dissemination of the culture of friendship, tolerance and harmony among the community. He also called to reject division and to defend the kingdom's security and stability. HRH Premier then paid a visit to the majlis of Shaikh Ibrahim bin Hamad Al Khalifa as part of his Ramadan tradition of reinforcing communication with Bahraini citizens. He exchanged Ramadan greetings with the guests and called for bolstering accord and national unity, emphasizing the significance of tackling plans that aim to sow discord within the Bahraini community. The majlis hosts expressed delight in HRH the Prime Minister's visit and wished him good health and happiness to continue the national development progress.
