Domestic Assistant Undersecretary meets US Congress delegation

Manama, Mar. 22 (BNA): Domestic and Foreign Trade Assistant Undersecretary Shaikh Hamad bin Salman Al Khalifa met with US Congress delegation. The meeting reviewed the Bahraini-US relations and the developments and efforts made to strengthen them in the common interest. They reviewed the economic climate in the Kingdom and initiatives taken by the government that contributed in enhancing the investment environment. The undersecretary praised the growth of bilateral relations, especially those related to trade and economic affairs, which culminated in the conclusion of a free trade agreement between them and the impact in raising the rates of trade exchange between the two countries.
